Description:   A vulnerability was reported in RSA BSAFE Micro Edition Suite and SSL-J. A remote user can impersonate a target client system.

A remote user with the ability to conduct a man-in-the-middle attack can conduct a "Triple Handshake" attack against the TLS protocol to impersonate a target client to another server.

Antoine Delignat-Lavaud, Karthikeyan Bhargavan, and Alfredo Pironti from the Prosecco research team at INRIA Paris-Rocquencourt reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can impersonate a target client system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (MES 4.0.6, 4.1; SSL-J 6.1.4; Advisory ESA-2014-158).
