Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Symantec Altiris Deployment Solution. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can trigger a buffer overflow in AClient to overwrite memory and gain elevated privileges on the target system.

Parvez Anwar (@parvezghh) reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor recommends uninstalling AClient and installing DAgent.
