Description:   A vulnerability was reported in ISC BIND. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target 'named' service to crash.

Systems compiled with GeoIP support are affected.

Felipe Ecker of Azion Technologies reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (9.10.1-P1).
