Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Cisco Small Business RV Series routers. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system. A remote user can upload arbitrary files to the target system.

A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted HTTP request to exploit a flaw in the network diagnostics administration pages to execute arbitrary commands on the target system [CVE-2014-2177]. The commands will run with root privileges.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuh87126 to this vulnerability.

A remote user can conduct a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attack to take actions on the target administrative interface acting as the target administrator [CVE-2014-2178].

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuh87145 to this vulnerability.

A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the target device to upload files to arbitrary locations on the target device with root privileges [CVE-2014-2179].

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuh86998 to this vulnerability.

Yorick Koster of Securify (www.securify.nl) reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary commands on the target system with root privileges.

A remote user can upload files to arbitrary locations with root privileges.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (RV180 firmware version 1.0.4.14, RV180W firmware version 1.0.4.14, RV120W firmware 1.0.5.9).

The vendor plans to issue a fix for Cisco model RV220W Wireless Network Security Firewall Release during November 2014.
