Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco IOS and IOS XE. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted RSVP traffic via IP protocol 46 and IP protocol 134 through the target device to trigger a flaw in processing RSVP flow metadata and cause the target device to crash.

Systems configured with the metadata flow feature are affected.

The vendor has assigned bug IDs CSCue22753 (CVE-2014-3356) and CSCug75942 (CVE-2014-3355) to these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target device to reload.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
