Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions. A remote user can conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

A remote user can cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed by the target user's browser [CVE-2014-0562]. Apple OS X systems are affected.

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a use-after-free memory error and execute arbitrary code [CVE-2014-0560].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption flaw and cause denial of service conditions [CVE-2014-0563].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a heap overflow and execute arbitrary code [CVE-2014-0561, CVE-2014-0567].

A remote user can create specially crafted content that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a memory corruption error and execute arbitrary code [CVE-2014-0565, CVE-2014-0566].

A remote user can bypass sandbox restrictions to exploit native code with elevated privileges [CVE-2014-0568]. Windows systems are affected.

Wei Lei and Wu Hongjun of Nanyang Technological University (via Verisign iDefense Labs), Tom Ferris (via HP's Zero Day Initiative), Frans Rosen of Detectify, Wei Lei and Wu Hongjun of Nanyang Technological University, an anonymous researcher (via HP's Zero Day Initiative, and James Forshaw of Google Project Zero reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with an arbitrary site, access data recently submitted by the target user via web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (10.1.12, 11.0.09).
