Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the host system.

The software does not properly handle uninitialized FIFO-based event channel control blocks. A local guest system can trigger a flaw in evtchn_fifo_set_pending() and cause the host system to crash.

Vitaly Kuznetsov at Red Hat reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user on the guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the host system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (xsa107-4.4.patch).
