Description:   A vulnerability was reported in RSA Identity Management and Governance. A remote user can bypass authentication to gain access to the target system.

On systems configured to use Novell Identity Manager for authentication, a remote user can connect to the target system without supplying a password to perform operations with the privileges of the target user account.

The built-in RSA Aveska Administrator account is not affected.

User accounts authenticated via authentication schemes other than Novell Identity Manager.

Impact:   A remote user can gain access to the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (6.5.1 P11, 6.5.2 P02HF01, 6.8.1 P07; Advisory ESA-2014-081).
