Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local user on a guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the host system.

A local user on a 64-bit kernel on a 64-bit domain guest and with permissions to spawn a 32-bit application can trigger a trap handling flaw and cause the host system to crash.

x86 systems are not affected.

32-bit ARM systems are not affected

64-bit ARM systems that support 32-bit domains are affected.

Riku Voipio (using Linaro's LAVA testing) and Ian Campbell reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user on a guest system can cause denial of service conditions on the target host system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (xsa102-4.4-01.patch, xsa102-4.4-02.patch, xsa102-4.4-03.patch, xsa102-unstable-01.patch, xsa102-unstable-02.patch, xsa102-unstable-03.patch)
