Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Security Network Protection. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted SSL messages to cause a single thread to enter a loop and consume excessive CPU resources in certain cases. This may cause the target device to become unresponsive.

Impact:   A remote user can cause excessive CPU consumption on the target system, which may cause the system to become unresponsive.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
