Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in the Linux Kernel. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user with write access to '/dev/fdX' can supply specially crafted FDRAWCMD IOCTL commands to free arbitrary kernel memory [CVE-2014-1737].

A local user with write access to '/dev/fdX' can supply specially crafted FDRAWCMD IOCTL commands to obtain information about the kernel heap arrangement [CVE-2014-1738].

Together, these flaws can be exploited to gain elevated privileges on the target system.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a source code fix for CVE-2014-1737, available at:
