Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local user on a guest operating system can cause denial of service conditions on the host operating system.

A local user on a guest operating system can access the virtual guest interrupt controller (GIC) distributor to trigger a pointer dereference and cause the hypervisor to crash.

ARM systems are affected.

x86 systems are not affected.

Impact:   A local user on a guest operating system can cause denial of service conditions on the host operating system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (xsa94.patch).
Cause:   Access control error
Underlying OS:  Linux (Any)
