Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local user on the guest operating system can cause denial of service conditions on other guests or on the host operating system.

A local user on the guest operating system on an ARM-based system can access various hardware features, such as cache control, coprocessors, debug registers, and processor specific registers. This can be exploited to cause other guest systems or the host system to crash and to corrupt data on the system.

x86 systems are not affected.

Impact:   A local user on the guest operating system can cause denial of service conditions on other guests or on the host operating system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (xsa93-4.4-01.patch, xsa93-4.4-02.patch, xsa93-4.4-03.patch, xsa93-4.4-04.patch, xsa93-4.4-05.patch, xsa93-4.4-06.patch).
