Description:   A vulnerability was reported in OpenSSL. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions. F5 BIG-IP is affected.

The ssl_get_algorithm2() function in 'ssl/s3_lib.c' uses an incorrect version number. A remote user can send specially crafted data (using TLS 1.2) to cause the target service to crash.

Ron Barber reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   F5 has issued an advisory for F5 BIG-IP. No solution was available at the time of this entry.

F5 has assigned ID 442452 to this vulnerability.

Some previous versions are not affected.
