Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Catalyst 6500 Supervisor Engine 2T. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted packets to exploit a flaw in the processing of multicast data in the Supervisor Engine 2T (Sup2T) and cause the target device to crash.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuf60783 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target device to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
