Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Foxit Reader. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can place an arbitrary DLL file with a specially crafted name in the execution directory. When the target user loads Foxit Reader, the arbitrary DLL will be executed with the privileges of the target user.

The vendor has notified on February 12, 2014.

Hossam Hosam reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (6.1.4).
