Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in MySQL. A remote authenticated user can access and modify data and cause denial of service conditions on the target system. A remote user can partially access and modify data and cause partial denial of service conditions on the target system. A local user can partially access data on the target system. F5 BIG-IP has issued a fix.

The MySQL Client, Server Optimizer, Server, Protocol, Server Installation, Information Schema, InnoDB, Server Full Text Search, InnoDB Plugin, Server Optimizer, Server Replication Information Schema components are affected.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can access and modify data and cause denial of service conditions on the target system.

A remote user can partially access and modify data and cause partial denial of service conditions on the target system.

A local user can partially access data on the target system.

Solution:   F5 has issued an advisory for CVE-2012-3163 for F5 BIG-IP.

The vendor has assigned ID 432467 to this vulnerability.
