Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware ESX/ESXi. A local user can view and modify arbitrary files on the target system.

A vCenter Server user with the 'Add Existing Disk' privileges can view and modify arbitrary files on ESXi or ESX.

A local user on ESX can view and modify arbitrary files.

This can be exploited to cause arbitrary code to be executed when the system reboots.

Impact:   A local user can view and modify arbitrary files on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
