Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Catalyst 3750X Switches. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

The Service Module for Cisco Catalyst 3750X switches uses default credentials. A local user can use these credentials to gain root access to the kernel running on the Service Module.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCue92286 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the kernel running on the Service Module.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
