Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Juniper Junos SRX Series Gateway. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted telnet protocol messages to a system configured for telnet pass-through authentication to trigger a buffer overflow in the flow daemon (flowd) and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vendor has assigned PR 861558 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (software releases built on or after 2013-07-11, or Junos OS 10.4S14, 11.4R7-S2, 11.4R8, 12.1X44-D15, 12.1X45-D10, and all subsequent releases).
