Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco 9900 Series IP Phones. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can exploit an input validation flaw in the image upgrade facility to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system.

Series 9900 firmware is affected.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuh10334 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain execute arbitrary operating system commands on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
