Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco Intrusion Prevention System. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the Cisco IPS management interface to exploit a token handling flaw in the authentication manager process and cause MainApp to hang intermittently.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuf20148 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target MainApp process to hang.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
