Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco NX-OS. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted data to an Open Network Environment Platform (ONEP) enabled network element to trigger a pointer validation flaw and cause the target element to reload.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCui51551 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
