Description:   A vulnerability was reported in GNOME Display Manager (GDM). A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

The system does not properly use temporary files in the '/tmp/.X11-unix/' directory. A local user can exploit this flaw to overwrite or modify arbitrary file contents via symbolic link attacks, including root owned files.
