Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Squid. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send specially crafted HTTP requests to trigger a buffer overflow and cause the target Squid service to crash.

Nathan Hoad, Netbox Blue Pty Ltd, reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target Squid service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.2.12, 3.3.7) [in July 2013].

Patches are also available for versions 3.0.x through 3.3.x.
