Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local guest administrative user can obtain elevated privileges on the target host system. Citrix XenServer is affected.

A local PV domain administrative user that can specify their own kernel can create a specially crafted kernel that, when loaded, will trigger integer overflow [CVE-2013-2194], pointer dereference errors [CVE-2013-2195], and other errors [CVE-2013-2196] to gain elevated privileges. The user can gain the privileges of the target domain construction tools.

Impact:   A local guest administrative user can obtain elevated privileges on the target host system.
Solution:   Citrix has issued a fix for Citrix XenServer.
