Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Siemens SIMATIC WinCC. A remote user can access the target system. A remote user can inject SQL commands. A remote authenticated user can determine NetBIOS user names.

The WinCC Web Navigator login screen does not properly validate user-supplied input. A remote user can supply a specially crafted parameter value to execute SQL commands on the underlying database [CVE-2013-3957].

The Web Navigator login mechanism uses hardcoded authentication credentials. A remote user can login to the target system as another user [CVE-2013-3958].

A remote authenticated user can manipulate URL parameters of the Web Navigator interface to determine valid NetBIOS user names [CVE-2013-3959].

Alexander Tlyapov from Positive Technologies reported these vulnerabilities.

Impact:   A remote user can access the target system.

A remote user can execute SQL commands on the underlying database.

A remote authenticated user can determine valid NetBIOS user names.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (WinCC 7.2 Update 1).
