Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Xen. A local user on a stub domain can cause denial of service conditions on the host system. Citrix XenServer is affected.

A stub domain kernel can exploit an IRQ access control flaw to grant a client domain access to an unauthorized IRQ, which may result in denial of service conditions on the host system.

Xen systems using stub domains are affected.

Guests with passed-through IRQs or PCI devices can exploit this flaw.

Impact:   A local user on a guest operating system can cause denial of service conditions on the target host system.
Solution:   Citrix has issued a fix for XenServer.
