Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware vCenter Server. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user with the ability to conduct a man-in-the-middle attack can modify Network File Copy (NFC) protocol data between the server and the client to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Alex Chapman of Context Information Security reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user with the ability to conduct a man-in-the-middle attack can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (4.0 Update 4b, 5.0 Update 2, 5.1.0b).
