Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Informix. A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote authenticated user can send specially crafted SQL statements to trigger a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

IOActive Inc. reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (later than 11.50.xC9W2; 11.70.xC7 or later).
