Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Firebird. A remote authenticated user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote authenticated user can send an empty dynamic SQL query when trace mode is enabled to trigger a null pointer dereference and cause the target Firebird server to crash.

Impact:   A remote authenticated user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (2.5.2).
