Description:   A vulnerability was reported in EMC NetWorker. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a format string flaw in the nsrd RPC service and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

Aaron Portnoy reported this vulnerability via the Exodus Intelligence Program.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (7.6.4.1, 8.0.0.1).
