Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware vSphere Client. A remote user can conduct script injection attacks.

The vSphere Client internal browser does not properly filter HTML code from log file entries before displaying the input. A remote user can create a specially crafted log file that, when opened by the target user, will cause arbitrary scripting code to be executed. The code will run with the privileges of the target user. The scripting code can take actions acting as the target user.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (vSphere 4.1 Update 2, 5.0 Update 1).
