Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Lotus Domino. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted packet to the target Domino Server via Notes RPC to cause the target server to crash.

The vulnerability occurs during Notes authentication processing.

The vendor has assigned SPR# KLYH8FTK5Y to this vulnerability.

Xiaopeng Zhang of Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.5.2 Fix Pack 4, 8.5.3).
