Description:   A vulnerability was reported in A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system. StarOffice is affected.

A user can create a specially crafted library file on the target user's current directory. In certain cases, the application may load the user's library instead of the intended DLL and execute arbitrary code.

This type of exploit is also known as "binary planting" or "DLL preloading".

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target application to execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   Oracle has issued a fix for StarOffice, described in their April 2011 Critical Patch Update advisory.
