Description:   Several vulnerabilities were reported in Opera. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can cause downloaded files to be executed. A remote user can cause arbitrary news feeds to be subscribed to.

A remote user can create a specially crafted HTML5 canvas that, when loaded by the target user, will trigger a heap overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user. Kuzzcc reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can create HTML that will use tabs to obscure a download dialog that is visible in another tab [CVE-2010-2576]. This can be exploited to cause the target user to inadvertently click on the 'Run' button and execute a downloaded file. Jakob Balle and Sven Krewitt of Secunia reported this vulnerability.

A remote user can create specially crafted scripting code that, when loaded by the target user when previewing news feeds, will subscribe the user to feeds without user interaction. Alexios Fakos reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.

A remote user can cause downloaded files to be executed.

A remote user can cause the target user's system to subscribe to arbitrary news feeds.

Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (10.61).
