Description:
A vulnerability was reported in Glibc. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.
The mntent functions in the GNU C library do not properly handle newlines. A local user that can inject newlines into a mount entry or other affected mount helpers may be able to execute arbitrary commands on the target system with root privileges.
