Fix Available:  Yes  Vendor Confirmed:  Yes
Version(s): 11.5.6.606 and prior versions
Description:   Multiple vulnerabilities were reported in Adobe Shockwave Player. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can create specially crafted Shockwave content that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target system [CVE-2010-0127, CVE-2010-0128, CVE-2010-0129, CVE-2010-0130, CVE-2010-0986, CVE-2010-0987, CVE-2010-1280, CVE-2010-1281, CVE-2010-1283]. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Specially crafted Shockwave content can trigger an infinite loop vulnerability and cause denial of service conditions [CVE-2010-1282].

The following researchers reported these vulnerabilities:

Chaouki Bekrar of VUPEN Vulnerability Research Team, Sebastien Renaud of VUPEN Vulnerability Research Team, Code Audit Labs, Nahuel Riva of Core Security Technologies, Gjoko Krstic of Zero Science Lab, Chro HD of Fortinet's FortiGuard Labs, an anonymous researcher via iDefense's Vulnerability Contributor Program, Alin Rad Pop of Secunia Research, and an anonymous researcher via TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative.
