Description:   Two vulnerabilities were reported in Helix Server. A remote user execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send specially crafted data to the AgentX master port to trigger a stack overflow [CVE-2010-1318] or integer overflow [CVE-2010-1319] and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

On Linux/UNIX-based systems, the code will run with the root privileges.

The vendor was notified on November 3, 2008.

Manuel Santamarina Suarez reported one vulnerability via iDefense and Joshua J. Drake of iDefense Labs reported the other.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (14.0.0).
