Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Foxit Reader. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create a specially crafted PDF file containing an executable that, when loaded by the target user, will invoke a command (/Launch /Action) to execute the arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

Impact:   A remote user can create a file that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (3.2.1.0401).

The vendor has also developed a Secure Trust Manager in version 3.3 that provides additional access controls.
