Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Heimdal Kerberos. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

The system does not properly check certain length values and the HMAC code may clear too much memory. A remote user can send specially crafted data to cause the target service to crash.

Tom Yu of MIT and Andrew Tridge of Samba reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (1.3.2).
