Description:   A vulnerability was reported in NetBSD. A local user can cause denial of service conditions.

A local user can supply specially crafted XML data to a driver that uses proplib to trigger a null pointer dereference and cause a kernel panic.

A non-defined element (e.g., "<number>") in the external XML form can trigger this flaw.

Impact:   A local user can cause a kernel panic on the target system.
Solution:   NetBSD has issued a fix (4.0.2, 4.1, 5.0).
