Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Ruby. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can supply a specially crafted value to a function that converts BigDecimal objects into Float numbers to trigger a segmentation fault.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target application to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (1.8.6-p369, 1.8.7-p173), available at:

Version 1.9.1 is not affected.
