Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM Lotus Domino Server. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a specially crafted e-mail attachment to cause the target IMAP service to crash.

RFC822 attachments embedded in the body field of some MIME messages can trigger a crash.

IBM has assigned SPR #JCHS7NNM56 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target IMAP service to crash.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (8.0.2FP1 Interim Fix 1, 8.5 Interim Fix 3).
