Description:
A vulnerability was reported in the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows client. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions. A remote user may be able to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
A remote user can send specially crafted data to trigger a buffer overflow and cause the target client to crash. It may be possible to also execute arbitrary code on the target client.
IBM has assigned APAR IC59481 to this vulnerability.
