Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Trend Micro OfficeScan. A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.

A remote user can send an HTTP request with a specially crafted 'ComputerName' parameter value to trigger a heap overflow in 'cgiRecvFile.exe' and execute arbitrary code on the target system. The code will run with the privileges of the target service.

The vendor was notified on September 2, 2008.

Dyon Balding of Secunia Research reported this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a patch:
