Description:   A vulnerability was reported in IBM WebSphere MQ. A local user can obtain elevated privileges on the target system.

A local user can connect to a queue manager in a COM+ or .NET environment and obtain PROCESS_DUP_HANDLE permissions. The local user can duplicate a handle owned by the target process and potentially take control of the process.

WebSphere MQ clients running in MTS or COM+ environments are affected.

IBM has assigned APAR IC50431 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can gain control of a process on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix (5.3 fix pack 14,
