Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Net-snmp. A remote user can cause denial of service conditions.

A remote user can send a GETBULK request with a large max-repeaters value to the agent to consume excessive CPU and memory resources on the target system.


Impact:   A remote user can cause excessive CPU and memory consumption on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fixed version (5.4.1).
