Description:   A vulnerability was reported in AIX. A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.

A local user can invoke the at command to trigger a buffer overflow to execute arbitrary code on the target system with root privileges.

IBM discovered this vulnerability.

Impact:   A local user can obtain root privileges on the target system.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix for AIX 5.3 (APAR IZ00139), available at:
