Description:   A vulnerability was reported in VMware. A remote user can cause arbitrary code to be executed on the target user's system.

A remote user can create specially crafted HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will invoke the 'vielib.dll' ActiveX control and execute arbitrary code on the target user's system. The code will run with the privileges of the target user.

The CreateProcess() and CreateProcessEx() functions do not validate the calling application.

The CLSID of the vulnerable ActiveX control is: 0F748FDE-0597-443C-8596-71854C5EA20A

callAX and GoodFellas Security Research Team discovered this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can create HTML that, when loaded by the target user, will execute arbitrary code on the target user's system.
